This is roughly what I look like now.

Longer story even shorter? I didn't post for three years and a lot happened.  For one, I ended up applying to schools in Boston like I said I might in the posts below about my trip to Tonga.  I met up with Nick, Pete and a few others in various places again and I did get accepted into the Geophysics PhD program at Boston University.  I'm still working on my PhD on oceanic strike-slip earthquakes and spending my free time traveling a bit, learning how to cook and bake, writing letters to keep the postal service afloat and volunteering at an animal shelter.


I hope I'll be inspired by this little electronic journal to get off my butt and do more things worthy of recording.  Time will tell.
