I voted! My absentee ballot is in the mail and hopefully being whisked off to America as we speak. It's weird that this is the first time I've voted, and I happen to be abroad. I feel disconnected from the US over here and all of its problems and elections and such, like I'm an outside observer instead of a participant. Hope it all goes well on the 4th!

It's finally dropped below zero, in Celsius, here in Aberdeen. Cold and clear, but there is a thin layer of ice that almost put me on my butt this morning while walking to breakfast. I've got my fingers crossed for snow even though that would mean losing a foolish bet (that it wouldn't snow properly until after December) and having to freeze during rugby practice.

Must go do homework!
